The Bereavement Ministry would like to share with you some of the significant elements of the procession into church as the Remembrance Mass begins.
Leading the procession is the Book of Remembrance.
The enrolled names in the book include each of the deceased whose funeral or memorial Mass was held here at St.Catherine's within the past year.
Following the Book of Remembrance is a large vase which contains the many names
of our parishioners' loved ones.
Each year parishioners are invited to submit the names of their beloved dead, from near or far, from long past or recently passed, to be offered up at this memorial Mass.
The candles that will surround the Book of Remembrance and the vase itself represents all of us, dedicating our love, honoring our remembrance and witnessing our faith in the Resurrected Life.
The names, along with the Book of Remembrance will be on display in the church
throughout the month of November.
