Gratitude

The Knights of Columbus invite you for some coffee and donuts in the parish Hall today Sunday, July 5th.

They will have coffee and donuts every 1st Sunday of every month after all the masses.

Donations are welcome!

Our Volunteer Appreciation dinner was a great success; It’s a small token of appreciation for the valuable work you provide to this parish.

A special thank you to Barbara Niimi, Andy Giamanco, Amy Griffith, Malenia Martinez, Kathy Keith, Patty Castillo, Carman Luna, Dan Higdon, and
Gilbert Baca for the support and encouragement that you all provide to Father Brian Hayes.

Alicia Lee would like to thank everyone who has prayed for her and has helped her in any way.

She is also very grateful for those who helped hercelebrate her 90th Birthday.

To show her gratitude she has scheduled a mass Int. for all the parishioners of St. Catherine Labouré that have been there for her.

The mass intention is on Sunday, October 11 at 8:00 AM.

We will have training soon!

Children ages 7 and up are encouraged to serve!

They need to have received the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Senior Fitness Class

Come join us on this Thursday, June 25th for a fitness classs given by laura.

The class is held in the Parish Hall, it starts T 11:30-12:15.

There is no fee to join this fun activity.

We would like to see you there.

The Healing Prayer Ministry

Healing Prayer Ministry

Healing Prayer will be available in the chapel on June 21, (just for the month of June it will be meeting a week before), following the 11:00 Mass.

Our prayer team will pray with you for any healing you need - physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual.

Prayer is offered the fourth Saturday of the month, or if you can't make that, the team is happy to set up another time to pray with you.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Children's Liturgy of the Word

During the 9:30am Mass, after the opening prayer, the priest invites the children ages 6-12 to come up and go with the Shepherd of the Word (teacher) to the chapel.

They will listen and discuss the Mass readings in a more child-friendly manner.

The children return to their families for the liturgy of the Eucharist.

Three is no fee to attend, you may pick up a Children's Liturgy of the Word name tag for your child before the mass.

Part of our mission at St. Catherine Labouré is to help feed families and the homeless. Our Food Pantry provides food to over 950 families and 1,200 homeless each year. Your donations of food are needed more than ever. Please help by providing the following food items that we hand out the most:

Cereal
Canned meat /tuna/chicken
Tuna Packets
Peanut bu tt er
Vienna Sausages
Chef Boyardee
Soup
Canned Vegetables
Canned Beans
Granola Bars
Protein Bars
Spaghe tti Sauce
Pasta/rice
Mac and Cheese
Cup of Noodles
Peanut bu tt er and crackers packs
Canned Fruit
Fruit cups
Small chip bags
Co ff ee Singles
Bo tt led water, small bo tt les

Please do not donate expired foods, we can’t use them.

Canned items with easy to open tops an d single serving items are preferred to fi ll the homeless bags. Full size items are u ti lized in the family bags. If you prefer to make a monetary contribu ti on, notate "Food Pantry" on your dona ti on. St. Catherine would like to thank Jan Cortez for overseeing the Food Pantry.
